Plain White Rice (Nasi Putih)
400 g (2 cups) Long-grain race
625 ml (2 ½ cups) Water
Method:
- Wash rice twice under cold tap water. Drain
- Transfer rice to a saucepan and add water. Bring to the boil and simmer uncovered until all liquid has been absorbed
- Cover saucepan, lower heat and cook for 15 minutes more
